Bariatric Surgery – Meets the fourth Thursday of every month except for November and December when it meets the 2nd Thursday of the month.  Location is Doctor’s Building 2, Room 315.  Lap-Band support group meets from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.  Occasionally, a guest speaker may be scheduled from 7pm-8pm. Bereavement (WINGS) – (When In Need of Grief Support) this meeting is open to both family and friends of Hospice patients as well as to the community.  Meets in The Living Room at Cedar Lake Village at 15325 S. Breast Feeding – Meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month in the Family Resource Center on the 5th floor at OMC from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.  Nursing babies are welcomed.  No fee or registration is required.  Contact the Lactation Line 913-791-4415 or the Education Department 913-791-4312 for more information.

Cancer Hotline –Sharon Clark in the Hospice/Home Health Department at OMC is the contact person 913-324-8515 extension 8130 and is in her office on Wednesdays to take calls.

Look Good...Feel Better – Cosmetology Professionals will help you apply make-up, choose and care for a wig, take care of dry skin and discolored nails, and cope with the side effects of chemotherapy or radiation.  Dates:  4/28, 7/28, 10/27 from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Call Margaret at 913-393-8230.  Please call early since registration is required.

Osawatomie Grief and Loss Group – Grief and Loss Group Meets each Wednesday afternoon of the month.  This is a mutual self-help, open group and one may attend at any time.
