devices for the deaf) for patient rooms
There is direct
line TDD accessibility in the Emergency Care Center,
The Birth Place Nursery, the Language Access Office and at the main
Information Desk.
There are
also TDDs available on the pay phones in the
Olathe Medical Center and The Doctors Building.

TV viewing in patient rooms
- Alerting devices
- Amplified telephones
- A one-to-one communicator
(universal hearing aid) for patients that are hard
of hearing but do not communicate through sign language
Notice of Interpreting Services
If you do not speak English, or if you are deaf, hard of hearing
or deaf/blind, you can have interpreting services provided for you at no
charge. Tell the person helping you that you need an interpreter.
